Bio - Kaleem Maxwell

It seem as far back in elementary school that I can remember I was attracted to two things; computers and video cameras. Ah yes, the age of the famous Commodore 64 computer and frequent sessions of recording my voice on a cassette player brought me to become interested in digital media.

Like most kids, I spent plenty of time in front of a square tube with sound and moving pictures and I soon started asking a lot of questions about the content on TV, some questions even his parents couldn't answer. Then I wanted to take try making my own content. Not long after making that goal, in around 1999, after trying out programming, I started trying out HTML and graphics program and built my own web page. This would be the beginning of what would be the start of an interesting relationship with the Internet.

While at university, I began my long search for "fresh entertainment" becoming an "entertainment chef" inspired by the food chefs that create unique blends and mixes of ingredients. This search lead to places where he tasted different and unusual events to cover such as experimental music and films, physique sports and Japanese Animation covering Anime North in 3 different occasions and joining the fan-run convention as a volunteer video producer in 2005.

In the same year, I found success with the production of Canadian physique and bodybuilding sport coverage on the web first with Northern Physique for two years and returning in 2009 with Musclesportsweb.com bringing coverage of popular shows, news and interviews with athletes and pros within the physique sport in Ontario and Canada.

With the new decade beginning, I built this new site with a goal to focus back on things that I've missed in the past few years and bringing in new things I've learned as well to the forefront. I'm pretty curious to see what sort of things will come and you should be too as mobile entertainment has taken solid root and emerging technologies like 3D TVs and Movies will be coming home and smaller producers will have accesses to these exciting tools.

And of course, as always for as long as I can remember, I do enjoy hearing your thoughts and opinions on anything I do.
